Brand Supervisor

As the Brand Supervisor you’ll oversee day-to-day development and execution of brand strategies and campaigns for a fast-paced retail account. This role is vital in ensuring our client’s brand maintains a strong presence in the market and consistently delivers on their promises. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, account management and leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of advertising, branding and marketing principles.

Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the daily point of contact for a retail account.
    • Understand client’s needs, goals and market dynamics to develop effective brand strategies.
  • Brand Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with clients and the agency's creative, media, social, email, analytics and strategy teams to develop comprehensive brand strategies and plans that align with the client's business objectives.
  • Account Implementation:
    • Responsible for the execution of brand and media campaigns and keeping all parts of the account/projects moving smoothly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
    • Ensure all creative assets and messaging are consistent with the established brand guidelines and strategy.
  • Account Management:
    • Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead a team of account management professionals, providing guidance, direction and mentorship to help them excel in their roles.
  • Promotions Management:
    • Manage brand building and development/execution of promotions across all channels and event planning/support (in-store and with third-party partners). Occasional weeknight and weekend support is required.
  • Industry Research:
    • Conduct thorough industry research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats and make data-driven recommendations for brand improvement.
  • Budget/Billing Management:
    • Ensure that campaigns are executed within allocated budgets, expenses are tracked and spending is optimized for maximum ROI.
    • Responsible for monthly client billing.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Work with the media team to continuously assess and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
    • Prepare regular reports for clients, summarizing campaign results, and providing insights and recommendations for future strategies.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • 7+ years of experience in brand/account management and digital marketing, preferably in an advertising agency.
  • Retail marketing experience preferred.
  • Profound understanding of branding principles, market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership experience with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Experience in working in all forms of media: mass, digital, social, email/direct, in-store/POS.
  • Experience managing the production of creative across all channels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
