Job Title: Social Media Manager
Full Time/Part Time: Full-time
Reports to: Digital Director
Walz Tetrick is looking for someone who truly understands community management, someone who can connect and engage consumers online through Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, or whatever app is released next month that will be the next game-changer. We want a person that can precisely place content to get the most traction and expose our clients’ brands to the most people while at the same time strengthening the bond between them. The ideal candidate will be able to help clients plan content timing, understand the limitations of various social media platforms, and develop and manage a team of community managers. Walz Tetrick is dedicated to helping our clients’ brands stand out from everything else that demands attention on a daily basis. We need an individual who can collaborate with a team to do the best work of their career.
You will need to be nimble. You will be asked to provide solutions across many different business categories to achieve very different business goals. The position will change and evolve quickly, and the candidate will drive much of that evolution.
- Manage variety of paid and organic social media projects
- Measure performance of all social media efforts
- Implement social media best practices within the agency
- Identify strategic opportunities for our clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to create best-in-class social media engagement practices for our clients
- Provide business insights
- Maintain the desire to do great work
- Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate to drive solutions
- Ability to lead and complete concurrent projects of varying size and complexity
- Experience presenting recommendations in a way that’s most relevant for a given audience
- Experience with various social media platforms
- Experience with various content management systems a plus
- Proven ability to lead
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a social media role
