Job Title: Account Manager

Full Time/Part Time: Full-time

Reports to: Account Supervisor


Are you energized by teamwork, business strategy and a creative working environment? We’re looking for a high-energy Account Manager to execute multichannel campaigns that drive response rates, sell product/services and execute on client business goals. You’ll work cross-functionally, frequently collaborating with other subject matter experts both internally and externally. No two days are the same in the life of an account manager, but we focus on a core group of fundamental activities each day to bring success.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain active and productive working relationships with client contacts
  • Earn and keep these clients’ respect and confidence as someone they can trust to communicate information and relay ideas in a clear, concise and timely manner
  • Develop a knowledge of, and be conversant in each client’s business – business model basics, key issues and competitive situation
  • Anticipate, and proactively make the Account Supervisor aware of unexpected issues. Prepare with thoughtful solutions
  • Effectively monitor the work of other agency departments against agreed upon timetables
  • Demonstrate commitment to the agency “team” with a positive mindset about work, clients and agency staff
  • Establish rapport and trust with a range of staff members assigned to the same account(s)—communicate on a variety of levels, acknowledging the expectations of and on others and being open to assist in any way necessary
  • Consistently demonstrate project leadership traits by being prepared and proactive, thorough and accurate
  • Demonstrate unity behind team and agency decision-making
  • Effectively manage time, establish clear objectives and day-to-day priorities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Demonstrate ability to manage details—attentive, accurate and thorough
  • Display characteristics of a “self-starter”—anticipate needs and act without direction when required
  • Deliver thorough, accurate and consistent work to clients and agency staff

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of industry or general advertising experience, including creative and traditional/digital media strategy
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to juggle projects and keep a positive attitude
